The 2025 Humanitarian Awards Benefit theme, “Light the Way,” celebrates award winners who have illuminated the path to success for others and invites guests to reflect on how they have been a guiding light for those in need.
Join us Saturday, Aug. 23 at the Drury Plaza Hotel for a night of fun and fellowship. The evening kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with a VIP Happy Hour for sponsors, Leadership Circle members and award winners. Doors open for all guests at 6:30 p.m. for a cocktail hour with music and games, and the program officially begins at 7:30 p.m.

For 75 years, the Humanitarian Awards Benefit has brought the Wichita community together to celebrate its unsung heroes—everyday people going out of their way to help someone just because it’s the right thing to do. The event is also a fundraiser, raising critical funds to help HumanKind Ministries continue our important work helping those experiencing poverty and housing insecurities.
