That’s a wrap on Sleep Out/Speak Out 2020! We hope everyone enjoyed their night under the stars on Saturday, June 6th, in solidarity with our homeless neighbors.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated and/or tuned into the program, to Sedgwick County Commissioner Lacey Cruse for the gorgeous musical performance, to Chelsea and Mayor Brandon Whipple for the lovely bedtime story, and to our event sponsors! This would not have been possible without you all.
The event is over but the work of HumanKind continues—we hope you will stay in the fight to support our homeless neighbors. Here are a few ways to stay involved:
– Educate yourself on the most pressing issues facing the homeless then take action
– Check out different ways to give back and support HK
– Follow us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) for the latest on everything HK
Each registration and every dollar raised from this event will directly fund HK’s work serving our region’s most vulnerable residents, so thank you again for all your support.
