With the end of another year (and decade!) upon us, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support of HumanKind Ministries.
Your commitment to helping those experiencing homelessness and poverty in Sedgwick County is critical to advancing our mission. Thanks to your kindness, last fiscal year (7/1/17-6/30/18):
- Nearly 1,600 men, women, and children stayed in one of our shelters, gaining access to food, clothing closets, basic health care, and case management
- Between 150-200 low-income Wichitans found permanent affordable housing in one of our apartments
- More than 14,000 low-income families and individuals received assistance when they needed it most through Operation Holiday
This important work would not be possible without the support of generous people like you. Together we are lifting up individuals—and our entire community.
