Operation Holiday
Making holidays brighter for families in need
Operation Holiday distributes food, winter wear, blankets, pet food and more to low-income families and individuals. Children 14 and under receive gifts through a partnership with Toys for Tots, and youth aged 15-17 receive gifts through our Teen2Teen program.
Homeless Shelters
Shelters for homeless men, women and children
HumanKind Ministries operates one year-round homeless shelter, The Inn, and two Emergency Winter Shelters (one each for men and women) in Wichita, Kansas. Each year, HumanKind Ministries shelters more than 1,400 homeless men, women and children.
Low-Income Apartments
Safe, affordable housing and assistance
HumanKind Ministries offers safe, affordable housing and assistance to help formerly homeless individuals and low-income individuals and families find stability and self-sufficiency. HK currently manages 112 low-income apartments in downtown Wichita.
