HumanKind has a number of housing options for those seeking low-income and/or intermediary housing, all in Midtown Wichita. We operate 155 permanent supportive units from studios to 3-bedrooms, all bills paid with on-site case management and other supportive services.

A first of its kind in Wichita, The Studios is a 54-unit permanent supportive housing facility specifically for individuals moving directly from homelessness. Low barriers to entry mean that adults with poor or no rental history are not exempt from applying. The Studios is for single adults, rent includes all bills paid, and tenancy includes compulsory case management which is provided onsite at no cost.

You may be eligible to lease an apartment at The Studios if:

• You are currently homeless
• A local agency can verify that you are homeless (e.g. a case worker, shelter, or social service provider)
• You plan to live alone with no pets

The Villas consist of 101 units designed for longer-term, affordable apartment living and a number of apartments designated for HUD-approved homeless persons. Anyone can apply and all residents at The Villas are offered on-site supportive services from HumanKind case management staff. The Villas comprise studio, 1-, 2-, and 3-bed apartments and are suitable for individuals and families.

You may be eligible to lease an apartment at The Villas if:

• Your combined household income is less than 200% of the federal poverty guideline
• You plan to live alone or with someone else/your family
• You have no pets with the exception of registered service animals
