Monetary gifts
Making a monetary gift is easy and can be done in any of the following ways:

Monetary gifts directly support our programs including shelter, housing, and supportive services such as Operation Holiday. They are also an efficient way to give as they enable us to purchase items in bulk, often at a discounted rate. We accept credit and debit cards, checks or cash.

Make an honorary or memorial gift using the donate options above or set up a memorial fund for a loved one who has passed.
Many companies match employees’ charitable contributions dollar for dollar or more. Visit this database and talk to your HR representative to find out if your donation qualifies for a match.
Among other benefits, when you give stock to a nonprofit, you can deduct its fair market value from your taxable income.
Gifts of up to $100,000 can be made from a retirement account to a nonprofit annually.
Gifts of homes, farmland, commercial buildings, land, and more have their own specific and significant tax benefits.
HumanKind Ministries maintains an account with the BAIRD Group to receive gifts of securities. HumanKind Ministries will authorize the sale of a stock gift as soon as possible after the gift is received. Securities that are publicly traded are valued at market on the date sold. Please list the type of stock you are gifting and the approximate number of shares.

You can raise money on HK’s behalf in many ways, and very easily, too. Facebook fundraisers are very popular, easy to set up, and can feature on both your Facebook and Instagram accounts Third-party fundraisers such as garage sales, school fundraisers, marathons, and more can be hosted by businesses, social clubs, private individuals, and other non-charity groups.
Purchasing HumanKind merch is a great way to help spread the word about our mission and make a financial contribution at the same time. It’s also perfect for gifting! Local-themed merch is available exclusively at Douglas art district’s Boutique 5. We also have a range of items that can be shipped nationwide at Bonfire.com.
Keep an eye out for Give Back Nights at local restaurants. On these nights, HK receives a percentage of the value of your order with every mention.
