For many of us, these uncertain times have left us with a desire to do something to help the many struggling in our communities and around the world. We hope you will consider supporting HumanKind Ministries now, as our services are more vital than ever before.
Like many of you, we have been closely following the news and updates from officials and health organizations regarding the spread of COVID-19 ("Coronavirus"). New updates are coming in all the time, and while these are uncertain times, we at HumanKind Ministries are reassured by the safety precautions being taken across the country, in our own community, and on our HK campus.
"I wish more people knew that HK has multiple levels of shelters and housing for homeless people so they can step up from chronic homelessness into regular housing in incremental, manageable ways over months or years at their own pace and are provided with case management through the whole process."
More than 400 people in need will be receiving a very special gift this holiday season thanks to Sister Leona Riebel (age 103!) who hand knits year-round to support Operation Holiday each year.
